We Go Slowly, Tread Softly & Travel Sustainably

Resposible Travel

Exploring the World with Intention, Integrity & Respect

Every B&R trip is designed with respect—for local traditions, for the communities in which we immerse you, and the environment that surrounds them. Our small-group approach isn’t just about creating more intimate and immersive experiences; it’s about ensuring that our presence is a benefit, not a burden, to the places we explore. Sustainability is embedded in everything we do, from our HQ to the trails we hike. We prioritize locally-sourced food, minimize food waste, avoid single-use plastics, and nurture long-term partnerships with Indigenous communities. We walk the walk.

The Slow Fund

Supporting Conservation, Education & Equity

For us, sustainability isn’t just about reducing impact—it’s about giving back. That’s why we created the Slow Fund, a program that supports projects in conservation, education, and equity. These initiatives—whether preserving cultural heritage, protecting ecosystems, or fostering vibrant communities—are local in impact but global in scope. Each year, we contribute approximately 5% of our annual profits to Slow Fund projects around the world.

Reducing Carbon Emissions

Our Commitment to Net Zero

Since 2023, every B&R trip has been 100% carbon neutral. By partnering with Sustainable Travel International (STI), we offset 100% of our trip emissions, investing in verified Climate Impact Projects that are accelerating the shift to a greener future. But that’s just the beginning. We’re committed to reaching Net Zero by 2050, which means cutting our carbon emissions by more than 90%. Our goal? To make every B&R journey as good for the planet as it is for the traveller. Because when you travel with intention, the world opens up in the best way possible.
