Trip Inspiration

Bhutan by Foot

Bhutan is a truly unique and spiritual experience. As you explore on foot, hike old ruins around the picturesque town of Paro and climb its most iconic landmark, the Tiger’s Nest. In the Gangtey region, marvel at vast spaces and small villages. In Punakha, enjoy a picnic lunch near the river and take a gentle walk to a sacred temple through rice paddies. Witness the ancient, mystical culture of Himalayan Buddhism practiced daily by monks, nuns and the populace, in beautifully preserved ancient temples and monasteries.
