Walk the ruins of Yucay, high above the modern-day town. Complete the day with a special afternoon ceremony by a local Shaman, guardian of Inca religious traditions.

Hike from Incan agricultural terraces to the salt mines of the Sacred Valley. Dinner tonight is at a local friend's home—get ready for a fun-filled evening!

Venture up to the Wari ruins of Pumamarca before wandering the cobblestone streets of Ollantaytambo, a still-functioning Inca Town. After all that walking, a traditional Peruvian pachamanca lunch awaits! Rest easy tonight for the Inca Trail tomorrow.

Day 4

Journey by train along the Urubamba River to the jungle entrance of the Inca Trail where you'll embark on one of the most spectacular hiking trails in the world. Take in views of Machu Picchu from the Sun Gate at sunset and toast to a bucket list adventure.

Awake atop Machu Picchu at the luxurious Sanctuary Lodge, then embark on a full exploration of the historic site. Tonight, enjoy music and dining aboard the legendary Hiram Bingham Train as we journey back to Cusco.

Hike the Inca Highway into Cusco via Sacsayhuaman. Enjoy lunch in town before setting out and exploring Cusco city, once the Inca capital. Tonight, enjoy your final night dinner in a true Inca Palace.
