Day 1

Head out for a private tour of Ceausescu's Mansion before continuing on a walking tour of Bucharest. Explore the city’s striking contrasts, stopping for lunch at a stylish restaurant Reconvene for dinner at one of the city’s up and coming venues.

Day 2

Spend the morning cycling though Dealu Mare, one of Romania’s renowned wine regions. We’ll make our way to Brasov, accompanied by views of the Carpathian Mountains. Reconvene this evening for a guided tour of Brașov, where you'll peek inside the Black Church, with its world-famous Buchholz organ.

Day 3

Pedal through the beautiful Transylvanian countryside, passing forests, sheep herds and candy-coloured homes. Stop for lunch in Sighisoara, with time to admire the medieval walled old town. Indulge in a tasting menu of local cuisine and an impressive array of Romanian wines for dinner.

45 km (27.9 mi.) bike ride in rolling terrain (a 14.2 km (8.8 mi.) longer option is available)

Day 4

Our journey begins in Medias and takes us through Nemsa, a scenic small hamlet tucked away between two steep ridges. Continue to the charming village of Alma Vii and savour some local delicacies. Soak in the beauty of the UNESCO Site of Biertan, the most beautiful medieval church included on the World Heritage list.

40 km (25 mi.) bike ride to Nemsa. 13 km (8 mi.) extension to Medias

Day 5

Cycle to a little village in the heart of Transylvania, made famous by King Charles who owns a home and property here. Take a short walk to Viscri's fortified church before challenging yourself with another ride. Dinner tonight will be served in the Count's castle, now converted to one of Romania's top hotels.

66 km (41 mi.) bike ride through the heart of Transylvania with a longer option of 22 km (14 mi.)

Day 6

On two wheels, we’ll head out on a ride that brings us to medieval castle ruins, then continue to Targu Secuiesc for lunch. Then, spend the afternoon wandering through the beautiful forested hills behind Zabola Castle, visit the spa or go horseback riding. Toast to a spectacular week at our final dinner celebration.

32 km(20mi) from Zabola to a medieval tower, with another optional 16 km (10 mi, ) extension to Targu Secuiesc 

Day 7

After one final breakfast, your guides will say goodbye this morning after assisting with your onward travel plans. Bon Voyage!
