After your trip, you will be dropped off at the Gare de Dijon-Ville train station at the time of your choice, to catch a train back to Paris Gare de Lyon, or to CDG if you're planning to depart back to North America on the same day. 

For the most part, you’ll walk on gently rolling terrain, although there is the occasional steep climb or descent to take on. As the terrain can be rocky, footwear with good ankle support is essential. On average, we walk 10-13km daily, with longer options available on some days.

A B&R representative will meet you at a time of your choice at the train station in Dijon and transfer you to your first hotel. They will distribute materials, deliver an overview of the week, and give a safety talk, as well as impart general advice on the region. You will then be transferred to the start of your first walk, which will lead back to the hotel. If there are any changes, B&R will leave a message at your hotel. For this reason, please ensure we have all your pre-trip contact information.



We provide you with a pair of lightweight aluminum walking poles on all our walking and hiking departures. They feature adjustable wrist straps, ergonomic grips and telescopic height adjustment for the perfect fit.

To carry your personal essentials in the most comfortable and unencumbered fashion, you’ll be given a custom 13L backpack. These nifty bags fold up when they're not holding your items and feature secure lockable zippers. As it's lightweight and versatile you’ll find it essential on trip, and we’re confident you’ll like it enough to take it home with you too—it’s yours to keep.

She then settled in the vineyards of Northern California for a few years before returning to her one and only home, the capital of Burgundy wines: Beaune. She has been a part of the B&amp;R family for 15 years after graduating with a Master of Tourism Management, just because she is a perfectionist like that. Her enthusiasm is contagious, so the main risk you are taking is that once on your trip, you will never want to leave. Eugénie doesn’t just know Burgundy. She is Burgundy.
