El Camino de Santiago has drawn pilgrims for thousands of years. Legend has it that a mysterious star lit the way to the relics of apostle Saint James the Great. Here, in Spain’s northwest, millions have hiked trails seeking reflection and peace. Along this humble route, walk through medieval towns, forests and ever-changing scenery. Make lasting friendships and experience the thrill of personal accomplishments. Be drawn to the light of the Compostela, and, perhaps, find a glimpse of enlightenment yourself. Whatever you search for, life-changing Camino holds the key.

All roads lead to Santiago de Compostela! Combine the best of them while discovering the spiritual, historic and cultural influence the Camino has had on the region for centuries.

The Camino is as varied as it is long, and no two days feel the same. Explore the paths crossing the Castilian farmlands, through El Bierzo’s lush wine valleys and along Galicia’s rugged coastline.

The ancient pilgrimage route along the Camino de Santiago is a quintessential example of how cycling provides a great way to slow down to see the world.

Be rewarded as you walk the mythical (and challenging) last kms up to O’Cebreiro. The higher you go, the views of Galicia become more impressive.

Trip Inspiration

Camino de Santiago Walking

Hike around the legendary Roncesvalles and be stunned by Galicia via O Cebreiro—the passage through the mountains of "Serra de Ranadoiro." Follow forest tracks leading to medieval villages of Boente and Ribadiso. Puente la Reina’s iconic six-arched medieval bridge is a star attraction, and its strategic location unlocks historical Estella, a city of lively markets and delightful dishes. Spend a couple of nights in religious mecca at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Santiago De Compostela, chocked with impressive churches, monasteries and historic palaces.

Bike the Famous Pilgrim Route

The ancient pilgrimage route along the Camino de Santiago is a quintessential example of how cycling provides a great way to slow down to see the world. You'll take in a portion of this route (the full version stretches its way all over Europe). Our portion features many challenging up-hill sections, which will make its flatter sections more rewarding. Along the way, you'll view some of the pilgrimage’s most notable sites, including the Puerta del Perdón, the Cruz de Ferro (Iron Cross), a Benedictine monastery in Samos and the Catedral de Santiago.

Galicia, Beyond the Camino de Santiago

The route of the Camino leads to the shrine of the apostle St. James in the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia—a historical region and autonomous community. Famous for its green landscapes and wooded valleys, wild beaches and lighthouses, Galicia is one of Spain’s best-kept secrets. Here, you’ll discover the area’s Celtic and Roman roots, enjoy authentic Galician life in the mountains and watch the sunset in fisherman’s towns by the sea.
