Day 1
Enter the lush wine region of El Bierzo and climb over the rolling mountains to the Cruz de Ferro where you'll meet the symbolic iron cross. We'll celebrate the start of our journey this evening with a wine tasting before dinner.
Day 2
Venture to Galicia via O'Cebreiro, a stunning mountain village in a region of outstanding natural beauty. This evening we'll dine in a 16th c. mansion and experience a mystical ancient tradition.
Day 3
In the heart of the Ribera Sacra, discover a fertile land known to surprise and delight wine enthusiasts. Visit a local cliffside vineyard for a tasting where we'll learn about 'Heroic Harvests'.
Day 4
Today our journey ends in the impressive shadow of the medieval Cathedral of Santiago, the legendary resting spot of Saint James the Apostle. After a fascinating tour of the town, enjoy dinner in one of the town’s many restaurants.
Day 5
Meander along Galicia’s most rugged coastline, then discover "the end of the earth" in Roman times. A final toast over dinner this evening is in order to celebrate our spectacular journey.
Day 6
After one last hearty breakfast, make your own way to the Santiago airport or train station for your onward travels. Buen Camino Peregrino!
